Russell D. Huntington
January 6, 1957 - March 1, 2010
Russell D. Huntington, 53, died unexpectedly on Monday, March 1, 2010. He is survived by Donna L. (Brown) Huntington, his wife of 31 years, childhood sweetheart and love of his life. Russ also leaves his proudest accomplishments, his two sons; Justin R. and Ian M. Huntington, both of Webster.

In addition, he is survived by his mother Shirley A. (Doherty) Huntington of Oxford; two sisters, Lisa D. Huntington-Ware and her husband Bruce of Oakham, and Julie M. Kudron and her husband Mark of Oxford; mother-in-law Gail J. Marotta and her husband Ted; brother-in-law Michael W. Brown and his wife Tracy; and sister-in-law Christine J. Desrosiers and her husband Paul. He also leaves many aunts, uncles and cousins. Russell was preceded in death by his father and best friend, David M. Huntington, as well as his sister, Diane M. Huntington. Russell had many close friends who are like family and will miss him tremendously.

He loved the role of dad and uncle, and doted on his nieces and nephews, Sarah C. and Samuel H. Ware, Nathaniel F. Brown, and Delaney M. and Daniel J. Kudron. He coached Little League in Webster and was a Scout leader for his boys when they were young.

Russ graduated from Oxford High School in 1975. He was a highly respected brother in Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 4 in Worcester for more than 30 years, and served on their Executive Board for several years.

In his spare time, he loved being at the ocean, especially Hampton Beach and his trailer there. Russ enjoyed fishing, whether ice fishing with his boys or brook fishing in Vermont. He was an avid fan of the Red Sox and Patriots.

Russ will be remembered as a no-nonsense yet big-hearted man with an easy laugh and an infectious smile. We will hold him closely in our hearts forever.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and share memories of Russ during calling hours on Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford.
