Biography

OXFORD – Pauline M. (Cunningham) Frazier, 77, of Wheelock St., died Friday, July 16, 2010, at the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence in Worcester, after a battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Raymond A. Frazier of Oxford; three children, Kathleen M. Lindell and Judith A. Anderson, both of Thompson, CT; and Michelle L. Auger of Woodstock, CT; a sister, Evelyn C. Auger of Oxford; a grandson, Matthew; five granddaughters, Rae, Jessica, Carolyn, Stephanie, and Renee; and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a sister, Janet Mahota of Oxford. She was born in Webster, the daughter of the late Daniel and Florence (Cazeault) Cunningham, and was a lifelong resident of Oxford. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1950.

Mrs. Frazier was a baker at the Chaffee School in Oxford, retiring in 1998. Previously she was a crossing guard and worked at Chaffee Brothers in Oxford. She was a member and former choir member at St. Roch’s Church in Oxford. Mrs. Frazier was instrumental in starting the leash law in Oxford with her friend, Marilyn. She was a past president and team manager of the Oxford Lassie League, and enjoyed crafts and sewing.

A funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2010, from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Roch’s Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at St. Roch’s Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours are Monday, July 19, 2010, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence, 10 Judith Rd., Worcester, MA. 01602.
