Michael E Harrison

September 7, 1976 ~ July 13, 2019 (age 42)

OXFORD – Michael E. Harrison, 42, of Oxford died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 13, 2019.

SSGT Michael E. Harrison is survived by his son, Kyle Harrison of Auburn; a sister, Kim K. Powers of Worcester, David K. Powers – who was like a brother to him; niece Stefanie Powers, Goddaughter and niece Ashley Powers; a great niece, Skyla Griffin and Stacy Kulma – who is the mother of his child and lifelong friend, along with many close friends. Michael was born in New Orleans, LA. He was the son of the late Evelyn A. (Bailey) and Johnny Huff.

Michael attended and graduated from Worcester Vocational Technical High School and also earned a degree from Worcester State College. He proudly served the United States Army for 4 years as an infantryman. In 2006 he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served in the 212th Engineering Installation Squadron as a Cable and Antenna Systems Apprentice. He later transitioned to the 212th as a Material Control Technician. He retired from the Air Force National Guard 212th in November of 2017 after more than 18 years of service.

Michael was a kind, loving person that thoroughly enjoyed working with computers and electronics. He took great pleasure in being able to take apart a piece of equipment and help someone with a repair. He also loved music, producing and sharing his talents with the world. You could always find Michael outside tinkering with new projects and he enjoyed his summers riding his Harley.

A prayer service will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at 7 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Veteran’s Inc., 69 Grove Street, Worcester, MA 01605.
