Agnes Beauchamp

WEBSTER - Agnes J. (Mathurin) Beauchamp, 91, died Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Webster Manor Long Term Care in Webster, with her sons by her side. She was predeceased by her husband of 27 years, Donald R. Beauchamp who died in 1973. She is survived by two sons, Mark P. Beauchamp and his wife Maribeth of Dudley, and Paul R. Beauchamp of Fitchburg; as well as many nephews and nieces. She was born in Charlton, the daughter of the late Peter J. and Agnes (Labay) Mathurin, and lived in Charlton, Spencer, and Oxford, before moving to Webster 52 years ago. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1940. Mrs. Beauchamp worked at American Optical in Southbridge during World War II. Later, she worked at Bartlett Insurance and Park and Shop, both in Webster. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Webster and was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Society at the church. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. The family would like to thank the staff at Webster Manor for their exceptional care. A funeral will be held on Monday, May 6, 2013, from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 18 East Main St., Webster. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home from 8:30 - 9:15 a.m. prior to the Mass. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Webster.
