SOUTHBRIDGE – Alana F. (Clark) Hoar, 75, of Dennison Lane, died Thursday, May 5, 2022, in her home. She was predeceased by her husband of 17 years, George F. Hoar Jr., who died in 2018. She is survived by three children, Debralyn M. Labbe and her husband Keith of Southbridge, Jeffrey W. Moore of Oxford, and Rodney C. Moore and his wife Jennifer of Oxford; three sisters, five brothers, twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her son, Brian W. Moore who died in 2016. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Gordon L. and Jean F. (McGee) Cuthbertson, and lived in Oxford before moving to Southbridge four years ago. She graduated from Millbury High School.
Mrs. Hoar worked as a bookkeeper prior to retirement. She enjoyed retirement and living with four generations of her family. Her family meant everything to her, and she loved nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 13, 2022, at St. James Church, 89 Main Street, South Grafton. Those attending are respectfully requested to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in South Grafton. Memorial calling hours are Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 4-7 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oxford.
