Albert Beardsley, Sr.

OXFORD – Albert E. Beardsley, Sr., 83, of Rocky Hill Road, died Friday, January 18, 2019, at Lanessa Extended Care in Webster. He was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Gail A. (Lavallee) Beardsley of Oxford who died in 2009. He is survived by three children, Albert Beardsley Jr. and his wife Marilyn of Weeki Wachee, FL, Patricia McCann, and Jean Beardsley of Oxford; a brother, Richard Beardsley and his wife Christine of New Hampshire; six grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces. He was born in Oxford, son of the late Joseph and Amelia (Snay) Beardsley, and was a lifelong resident of Oxford where he currently resided with his daughter Jean, his grandchildren Joshua Atchue and Nicole McIntyre and her husband Colin, and his great-grandson Liam. He graduated from Oxford High School.

Mr. Beardsley owned and operated Beardsley Painting in Oxford for many years.

Services are private and under the direction of Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
