Alberta M. Boyle

OXFORD – Heaven gained an angel on Saturday, August 30, 2025, when Alberta M. (Harty) Boyle, 83, of Millbury Road, passed away in her home.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert L. Boyle of Oxford who died in 1988. She is survived by three children, Alberto Haggett of Charlton, Teresa Brunelle and her husband Brian of Worcester, and Heidi Boyle of Oxford; a brother David Dame of Washington; a sister, Ellen Roberts of Cherry Valley; numerous grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters, Sandra Borey who died in 2021, and Donna Erskine who died in 2020; and her close friend, Russell Gagner.

She was born in Barre, daughter of the late Roger and Marjorie (McCann) Harty, and lived in Webster before moving to Oxford in 1973.

Mrs. Boyle worked at Talbot Trading Company in Worcester for 16 years, retiring in 1994. Later she worked at McDonald’s Restaurant in Oxford, earning the position of manager. She was a member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Oxford. She enjoyed her dog, her cat, and most of all, spending time with her family.

A private graveside service will be held at St. Roch’s Cemetery in Oxford. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 12 noon at the family home, 87 Millbury Road in Oxford.
