Aldona Stanley

WORCESTER - Aldona T. (Pupelis) Stanley, 90, formerly of Jersey Drive, died Monday, June 6, 2011, at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles P. Stanley of Worcester who died in 1984. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth U. Scales of Oxford; two grandchildren, Patricia K. Westberg of Sturbridge, and Ryan M. Scales of Oxford; three great grandchildren, Zoe E. Westberg, Reece R. Westberg, and Kayla J. Benoit; and her brother, Anthony Pupelis. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jean Miller of New York City, NY; her twin brother, August Pupelis; and a sister, Helen Buckley. Mrs. Stanley was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Augustus and Ursula (Uza) Pupelis, and was a lifelong resident of Worcester. A funeral was held privately. A private burial was held at St. John's Cemetery in Worcester. Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, assisted the family with arrangements.
