“God only chooses the purest souls to become angels”

WEBSTER – Amanda L Stone, 36 of School St. died Friday July 12, 2024, at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester after a long and valiant fight with cancer.

She is survived by her fiancé Matthew A. Sujdak of Webster; her mother Ladon R (Brunnett) Burke of North Grosvenordale, CT.; her father Michael D. Stone and brother David M. Stone; both of Worcester; and her paternal grandmother Janice Stone of Oxford. She also leaves numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins whom she loved dearly. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Richard and Harriet Brunnett.

Amanda was born in Worcester and lived in Oxford and Thompson before moving to Webster 10 years ago. A graduate of Tourtelotte Memorial High School in 2006 with high honors, she then attended Anna Maria College in Paxton, getting a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and graduating with high honors in 2010.

Being the Assistant Communications Supervisor at the Northborough Police Department for 12 years, she loved what she did and considered her co-workers and officers family. In addition, she owned and maintained multiple rental properties with her fiancé Matthew.

An avid athlete, playing soccer, basketball, tennis, track and field, paintball, and horseback riding, she was also a talented artist, working in paints, watercolors and pencil.

To say that Amanda was a good person and did everything right in life would be an understatement. She volunteered, tutored, mentored and counseled at summer camp on Quaddick Lake as a youth. She cared and helped everyone else before herself, whether you were family, friend or stranger. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
