Anna Maria Pizzolato

August 15, 1959 — September 12, 2025

Uxbridge

UXBRIDGE – Anna Maria (Lewicke) Pizzolato, affectionately known as Annie, died on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Milford Regional Medical Center.

She was born on August 15th, 1959, to Catherine Pearl (Cryan) Lewicke and Edward Lewicke. She grew up in Uxbridge and graduated from Uxbridge High School. She subsequently earned her Bachelor in Music Education in 1981 and later a Masters of Music Education and Voice from the University of Lowell. She taught music, theater and voice at Uxbridge High School for several years and was part of the community theater scene in the Blackstone Valley during the 1980s and 1990s.

She continued to live in Uxbridge, and for most of her career she served as chief organist, choir director and soloist for St. Roch’s Church in Oxford. She also specialized in voiceovers and narrations, including work for the Smithsonian, NASA, Harvard University, and NPR. Her voice work could be heard at the Smithsonian’s Air and Space Museum in their video production, “Lighthouse of the Skies.” She also did all of the voiceover work for the Harvard Museum of Natural History and Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. Examples of her work are also available on YouTube.

She served as caregiver for her mother before her death. She was fond of classic movies, music, playing trivia, culinary arts, roses, and animals, especially her beloved departed dog, Oprah. She was a supporter of Turtle Mountain Animal Rescue and Wildlife Research Institute.

Anna was predeceased by her father, Edward Lewicke, mother, Catherine Lewicke, husband, Victor Pizzolato, and sister Jane Lewicke. She is survived by her life-long friends, brothers, Peter, John and Tom, and nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews, whom she enjoyed entertaining with old movies late into the night and remained devoted to throughout her life. She will be remembered for her wry sense of humor, loyalty, and her beautiful voice that when unleashed filled and elevated the room.
