Arthur L. St. Cyr, Sr.

OXFORD – Arthur L. “Tubby” St. Cyr, Sr., 86, of Wheelock Street, died Friday, December 1, 2023, in his home.  He is survived by three children, Arthur L. St. Cyr, Jr., and his wife Kelly of Spencer, Dennis St. Cyr of Worcester, and Terry Sullivan and her husband Brian of Sutton; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.  He was predeceased by a son, Barry St. Cyr.  He was born in Oxford, son of the late Lewis and Lydia (Bonin) St. Cyr, and was a lifelong resident of Oxford.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. St. Cyr worked in the maintenance department at Clark University for over 10 years, retiring in 1999.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4241 in Oxford.  He enjoyed NASCAR auto racing and watching the races at Thompson Speedway.  He was a lifelong hockey fan.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Roch’s Cemetery, Federal Hill Road, Oxford.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tri-Valley Inc., 10 Mill St., Dudley, MA 01571.
