OXFORD – Brian F. Parent, 52, of Harwood Street, died unexpectedly at work on Wednesday, October 14, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Bonnie Lee (Chomes) Parent of Oxford; his parents, Maurice and Priscilla (Pepin) Parent of Goffstown, NH; three sisters, Diane Forbes and her husband Scott, Nicole Bissette and her husband Roger, and Donna; two brothers, David and Julian; his father-in-law, Nicholas Chomes of Oxford; his brother-in-law, Nicholas Chomes III and his wife Mandy of Northbridge; his aunts and uncles, Shirley and Phillip Ryznal of North Oxford, and Donald and Mamie LaFlamme of Florida; and many nephews and nieces. He was born in Manchester, NH, and lived there before moving to Oxford 18 years ago.
Mr. Parent was a machinist at Borg Industries in Holden. Previously, he worked at IPG Photonics in Oxford and at Tennessee’s BBQ, formerly in Leominster. He loved fishing, woodworking, barbequing, riding his motorcycle, and had a great admiration for President Trump.
Calling hours are Monday, October 19, 2020, from 4-7 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will be private at a later date at North Cemetery in Oxford.
