Bruce Brunnett

OXFORD – Bruce R. Brunnett, 70, of Main Street, died peacefully on Sunday, July 3, 2022, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus in Worcester.  He is survived by two children, Richard G. Brunnett of Oxford, and Tanya L. Holmes and her husband Paul Mondino of Putnam, CT; his mother, Harriet E. (Holmes) Brunnett of Oxford; seven siblings, Pauline Miller of Worcester, Ladon Burke of Thompson, CT, Brian Brunnett of New York, Lisa Leduc of Leicester, Stacy Brunnett of Thompson, CT, David Brunnett of Worcester, and Quentin Brunnett of Oxford; nine grandchildren, Kenneth Holmes and his fiancée Sarah Kittredge of Oxford, Michael Holmes of Thompson, CT, Jordan Holmes of Putnam, CT, Collin Mondino of Putnam, CT, Matthew Brunnett of Oxford, Timothy Brunnett of Oxford, Giovanni Brunnett of Southbridge, Natra Brunnett of Independence, OR, and Julieann Brunnett of Independence, OR; three great-grandchildren, Aubriella Holmes, Kenneth Holmes, and Lydianna Brunnett; his former wife, Sharon A. Brunnett of Oxford; his companion of several years, April Howard of Oxford; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was predeceased by his wife, Andrea Loconto; his son, Corey Brunnett; and his brother, Charles Brunnett.  He was born in Worcester, son of the late Richard F. Brunnett, and lived most of his life in Oxford.  He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade High School in Worcester.

Mr. Brunnett was a welder for various companies throughout his life, retiring as a self-employed welder in 2012.  He was a member of the N.R.A.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, cookouts, and long rides to nowhere.  Most important in his life was his family, and he greatly enjoyed having everyone over for family dinners.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2022, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford.  Burial will follow at North Cemetery in Oxford.  Calling hours are Thursday, July 7, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
