C. Kevin Stewart

OXFORD – C. Kevin Stewart, 70, of Oxford, passed away on March 20, 2024, at home after a hard-fought battle with cancer, which he faced courageously.  He was surrounded by his loving family in his final days.
 
He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Thea A. (Sapino) Stewart; their four children, Kristina M. Mateo of Dorchester, Kevin M. Stewart and his wife Kimberley of Oxford, Jeffrey D. Stewart-Morales and his husband Cesar of Framingham, and Jonathan P. Stewart of Thompson, CT; a sister, Mary Ann McGuire and her husband Michael of Minnesota; a brother, James F. Stewart and his wife Faith of Shrewsbury; a sister-in-law, Cheri Dunnigan and her husband Timothy of Naples, FL; his 10 grandchildren, Alexandra, Nicholas, Isabella, Misael, David, Kinslie, Sadie, Daniel, Nathan, and William; as well as a nephew, several nieces and cousins.

 He was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law, Paul M. and Kathie (Kelley) Stewart of Uxbridge; his grandson, Gracen Mateo; and his niece, Tina M. Stewart.

 Kevin was born in Boston, son of the late Charles C. and Doris A. (Hanlon) Stewart, and lived most of his life in Framingham before moving to Oxford in 2007.

 Kevin was a loving husband, father and grandfather. After graduating from the New England Fuel Institute, he worked in the heating industry for thirty years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in North Cemetery, Oxford.
