OXFORD – Carol Williams, age 90, of Oxford, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026.
Born in Worcester, MA, to the late Gladys and Kachador Vartanian, Carol lived a life defined by deep devotion to her faith and an unwavering love for her family. For decades, she served as the secretary at Grace Church, where her warmth and dedication made her a cornerstone of the community. Even later in life, she continued to help the church in any capacity she could. However, Carol’s true passion was simply being surrounded by her family and friends, and she found her greatest joy in helping others.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold Williams, as well as her parents.
She is survived by her devoted sons, Mark Williams and his wife Michelle, John Williams and his wife Kristen, and Paul Williams and beloved sister Nancy Poissant.
Carol was the cherished grandmother of Kyle Williams, Emily Williams, Jessica Williams, Brandon Williams, and John “Jack” Williams. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Jaxtyn Williams, Lainey Williams, Lacey Williams and Daisy Paxson.
A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 270 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
