OXFORD – Carole Anne (Vacca) Brozowski, 74, of Burbank Street, died Thursday, December 28, 2023, in her home. She is survived by two sons, Richard Vacca of Oxford, and Peter Brozowski of Oxford, whom she loved and cared for; a brother, Anthony Vacca of Worcester; two sisters, Shirley (Vacca) Pavone and Anna Vacca, both of Worcester; a grandson, Isaac Brozowski; a niece, Amanda; and a cousin, retired Lt. Michael Vacca of the Worcester Police Dept. She was predeceased by a stepson, Michael Brozowski. She was born in Worcester in 1949, daughter of the late Ottavio and Lucy (Ricchuti) Vacca, and moved to Oxford in 1977. The Vacca and Ricchuti family have lived in the Worcester community for over 75 years.
Ms. Brozowski was an insurance adjuster at Mapfre/Commerce Insurance in Webster for over 30 years. In addition, she was a crossing guard at the Clara Barton Elementary School in the 1980’s. She loved her dogs, especially her Lhasa Apso, Cuddle; and her Maltese, Fluffy. She was grateful for her wonderful friends, Elaine and Mike Palumbo, Linda and Bill Levie and family, and Lisa Gregoire and Barry.
Mrs. Brozowski was active in the Oxford community. She was a den mother for Cub Scout Pack 147 and was active in school activities. She cheered on the Villager baseball team to victory in the 1981 championship when her sons were on the team.
