OXFORD – Catherine “Kay” A. (O’Connell) Dubois, 94, died peacefully on Sunday, February 14, 2021, at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in West Brookfield. She is survived by her daughter, Karen-Kay Marois and her husband Robert of Davenport, FL; two grandchildren, Stacey L. Werrbach of Plainfield, IL, and Derek J. Marois of Townsend; two great-grandchildren, Karlie L. Werrbach and David T. Werrbach; and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two sisters, Anna Bates and Margaret Plante; a brother, John O’Connell; and her former husband, Richard H. Dubois. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late John and Agnes (Murray) O’Connell, and lived most of her life in Cherry Valley and North Oxford. She graduated from St. Peter’s High School in Worcester.
Mrs. Dubois was a payroll clerk in the City of Worcester Treasurer’s Office for 10 years prior to retirement. She enjoyed the Leicester Drum and Bugle Corps and especially loved yard sales.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, P.O. Box 91891, Washington, DC 20090-1891. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
