Charles Moore

OXFORD - Charles H. Moore, 66, of Huguenot Road, died peacefully on Thursday, November 27, 2014, in his home. He is survived by three children, Tammie L. Masiello and her husband Paul Jr. of Oxford, with whom he lived, Jeffrey A. Moore of Dudley, and Tracie A. Ethier and her husband Thomas of Douglas; three brothers, John Moore of West Boylston, Carl Moore of Worcester, and Billy Moore of Worcester; three sisters, Marion Adams of Worcester, Lynne Davis of Tennessee, and Karen Scott of New Hampshire; five grandchildren, Tori A. Masiello, Payton K. Masiello, Tyler A. Moore, Nathan P. Moore, and Tara A. Ethier; his former wife, Karen A. (O'Malley) Jason of Dudley; and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Boswell. He was born in Gloucester, the son of the late Walter F. and Bessie A. (Menken) Moore, and lived in Oxford since 1998. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, receiving the Purple Heart for injuries received during his service. Mr. Moore was a machine operator at General Wire Products in Worcester for 30 years, retiring in 2011. He was known as "Harley Charlie" to his friends, and enjoyed riding his recreational vehicles. Charlie loved to sing karaoke and enjoyed being a D.J. with his son, Jeff. He loved to build and create his own inventions, and will be remembered as someone who could fix anything. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery in Oxford. Calling hours are Tuesday, December 2, 2014, from 6:00-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, P.O.
