Christine Zorn

OXFORD – Christine A. (Dion) Zorn, 72, of Garrison Heights, died Friday, April 22, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, with her family and good friend Patty by her side, after a battle with cancer.  She is survived by two children, Dawn H. Dion and her fiancé Stephen Perry of Worcester, and Matthew D. Zorn of Oxford; a brother, Robert E. Dion Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Auburn; a granddaughter, Amanda E. Rossetti and her spouse Krysta of Worcester; her dog and best friend, Clara; and nephews and nieces.  She was predeceased by a brother, William J. Dion who died in 2020.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Robert E. and Elizabeth D. (Robillard) Dion Sr., and was a lifelong resident of Oxford.  She graduated from Holy Name High School, and received her associate degree from Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester.

Ms. Zorn was a registered nurse at Knollwood Nursing Center in Worcester for 15 years, retiring in 2020.  Previously, she worked at several area nursing homes.  She enjoyed traveling with her friend Deb, caring for her dogs, and loved spending time with her family.  She was an avid republican.  She loved going to the movies with her best friend of 60 years, Kathy, who predeceased her in 2020.

The family would like to thank Dr. Samaha and Dr. Beck, for their exceptional care during her illness.

A private graveside service will be held at St. Roch’s Cemetery in Oxford.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Oxford Little League, P.O. Box 112, Oxford, MA 01540.  Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
