Constance I. Tarbell

WEBSTER – Constance I. (Bourn) Tarbell, 96, died Monday, July 17, 2023, at Lanessa Extended Care in Webster.  She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth P. Tarbell who died in 1979.  She is survived by her daughter, Karen L. Ward and her husband Kerry of Florida; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by three children, Carol J. Tarbell who died in 2015, Philip M. Tarbell who died in 2010, and Gary W. Tarbell who died in 1969; a sister, Helen E. Behrens; a brother, Robert V. Bourn Sr.; and a granddaughter, Jennifer.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Vernon I. and Helen G. (Dillon) Bourn, and lived in Oxford and Worcester before moving to Webster in 1962.

Mrs. Tarbell spent most of her life caring for her home and family.  She enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She loved music and enjoyed listening to records, playing the piano, and playing the organ.

Services are private.  Burial is private at North Cemetery in Oxford.  Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
