OXFORD – Cynthia L. (St. Martin) Clark, 86, of Newton Avenue, died on Monday, May 18, 2026, at The Overlook in Charlton.
She was predeceased by her husband of nine years, Ronald F. Clark, Sr., who died 2005. She is survived by two sons, Martin D. Hayden and his partner Cheryl Lamb of Salem, NH, and Stephen M. Hayden and his wife Lisa of Ludlow, MA; three grandchildren, Matthew Cranham of Charlton, Larissa Hayden of Ludlow, and Serena Kareta and her husband Derek of Granby, CT; and a sister, Constance Nelson of Worcester. She was predeceased by three sisters, Helen, Sandra, and Patricia, and her best friend, Charlene White.
She was born in Binghamton, NY, daughter of the late Henry A. and Lucille (Pare) St. Martin, and lived in Webster, West Brookfield, and North Brookfield, before moving to Oxford in 1996. She graduated from North Brookfield High School in 1957.
Mrs. Clark was an office manager at Dante Builders prior to retirement. Previously she worked at McIntyre Chevrolet in West Brookfield. She was a member of St. Roch’s Church in Oxford.
Until Cynthia became ill in 2020, she was incredibly active within her church and her community. She was an avid traveler with a zest for life and adventure. She often traveled with her closest friend, Charlene, or her husband, Ron. She was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, and friend. Her final years were spent at The Overlook, where she was looked after by an incredible staff of nurses and aides. What she was most thankful for during those difficult years, was the friendship of Larry White. He visited Cindy nearly every day bringing sunshine into her life when she needed it most.
Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Roch’s Church, 334 Main Street, Oxford.
Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
