OXFORD – Daniel A. Germain, 72, of Wheelock Street, died Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge.  He is survived by his brother, Bradley I. Germain and his wife Nancy of Oxford; his sister-in-law, Virginia A. Germain-Guertin of Charlton; his nephews, Kenneth Germain, Michael Germain, and Josh Germain of Oxford, Ronald W. Germain, Jr. of Charlton, Randy Germain of Westboro, Steven Germain of Arizona, and James Germain of Pennsylvania; two nieces, Carolyn Overbye and Donna Danner, both of Minnesota; and many great nephews and nieces.  He was predeceased by two brothers, Ronald W. Germain Sr. and Stanley A. Germain; and a sister, Dolores Overbye.  He was born in Webster and lived in Oxford and Louisiana before moving to Webster over 20 years ago.

Mr. Germain was a truck driver for Saltus Press in Worcester for 16 years, retiring in 2013.  He was a former member of St. Roch’s Church in Oxford.

Services will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.  Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
