OXFORD – David J. McGrath, 73, of Main Street, died Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.  He is survived by a brother, Ronald J. McGrath of Auburn; nephews and nieces.  He was predeceased by three brothers, Francis L. McGrath Jr. who died in 2016, Kenneth J. McGrath who died in 2015, and James M. McGrath who died in 2021.  He was born in Worcester, son of the late Francis L. and Irene M. (LaBrie) McGrath Sr., and lived most of his life in Oxford.  He graduated from Oxford High School.

Mr. McGrath was a self-employed contractor in Oxford for many years.  He was a member of St. Roch’s Church in Oxford and a member of the 200 Sportsman’s Club in Webster.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 3, 2023, at St. Roch’s Church, 332 Main St., Oxford.  Burial will follow at St. Roch’s Cemetery in Oxford.  Calling hours are Friday from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, prior to the Mass.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Roch’s Church, 334 Main St., Oxford, MA 01540.
