OXFORD – David A. Naugle, 67, of Brook Street, died Sunday, February 19, 2023, in his home with his wife by his side. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Louisa A. Klaven of Oxford; several aunts, cousins, and a nephew. He was born in Johnstown, PA, and lived in Oxford since 1983. He graduated from Valley Forge Military Academy, received his Bachelor’s Degree from Thiel College in Greenville, PA, and received his Master’s Degree in Divinity from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg.
Mr. Naugle worked for Tri-Valley Elder Services and later worked in independent home care. He worked as a gallery interpreter at the Higgins Armory Museum in Worcester, a job that he loved the most. He was a talented guitarist and singer, loved history, and cherished his pets - 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 6 birds.
A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Bethel Lutheran Church, 90 Bryn Mawr Avenue, Auburn. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church, 90 Bryn Mawr Avenue, Auburn, MA 01501.
Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
