OXFORD – Denise M. (Stevens) Kornwolf, 55, of Toria Heights Road, died Thursday, April 22, 2021, in her home. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, David D. Kornwolf of Oxford; her parents, David F. and Judith R. (Langlois) Stevens of Sturbridge; her brother, Brian D. Stevens and his wife Holly of Franklin; two sisters, Shari A. Vietry of Merrimack, NH, and Kathryn E. Stevens and her fiance Yavuz Kiremit of Worcester; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was born in Southbridge, and lived in Worcester and Southbridge before moving to Oxford in 1998. She graduated from Marianhill High School in Southbridge in 1983, and received her bachelor’s degree from Anna Maria College in Paxton in 1987.
Mrs. Kornwolf was a bookkeeper at A.A. Zamarro in Worcester for 4 years. Previously she worked for her father at Stevens Automatic Sales and was a manager at The Mailroom.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at St. Roch’s Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at St. Roch’s Cemetery in Oxford. Calling hours are Tuesday from 9-10:30 a.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation, 3540 Crain Highway, Suite 675, Bowie, MD 20716, or to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen St., Suite 250, Framingham, MA 01701.
