NORTH OXFORD – Diana D. (Beaudette) Groleau, 81, of Southbridge Road, died Tuesday, August 6, 2024, in her home surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Donald R. Groleau of North Oxford, who died on August 1, 2024. She is survived by a daughter, Brenda L. Donnelly and her husband James of North Oxford; three sisters, Patricia A. Plante of Worcester, Anna T. Barthelms of Indiana, and Debra L. Lentz of Indiana; six grandchildren, Michael Desourdy, Daniel Faulkner, Jason Faulkner, Carrie Desourdy, Jessica Perley, and John Sutliff; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two daughters, Linda A. Sutliff and Barbara J. Desourdy; and a brother, Frederick J. Beaudette.
She was born in Worcester, son of the late Frederick and Anna (Leighton) Beaudette, and lived in Oxford for over 60 years.
Mrs. Groleau was a homemaker for most of her life. For several years, she worked in the cafeteria for Oxford Public Schools. She enjoyed playing Bingo, crocheting, sewing, trips to the casino, and scratch tickets. Her family meant everything to her, and she dedicated most of her life to raising her children and grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at the American Legion, 227 Main Street, Oxford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
