Donald L. Bercume

OXFORD – Donald L. Bercume, 88, of Fay Avenue in North Port, Florida, died on Friday, May 9, 2025, in North Port. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Anne M. (Maynard) Bercume of Oxford; daughter Donna M. Bercume of Southbridge; three stepchildren, Gary Doyer of North Carolina, Christine Broughman of Florida, and Glen Doyer of Florida; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

He was born in Oxford, son of the late Francis E. and Rita B. (Ledoux) Bercume, and lived in Oxford and Auburn before moving back to Oxford in 1998. He graduated from Oxford High School in 1955 and served in the Army National Guard for 7 years.

Mr. Bercume was a machinist at Norton Company in Worcester for 34 years, retiring in 1998. He was a member of the Auburn Elks in Auburn.

A private graveside service for his family will be held at St. Roch’s Cemetery in Oxford.
