Donald Efter

NORTH GROSVENORDALE – Donald A. Efter, 75, of Denis Drive, died Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, after a short illness. He is survived by his sister, Annette E. “Ricky” Sirard of North Grosvenordale; a nephew, Gary Sirard; and two nieces, Dianne Sirard and Dawna Sirard. He was born in Chelsea, son of the late Harry M. and Edith T. (Rosen) Efter, and lived most of his life in North Grosvenordale. Donald enjoyed coin collecting, playing cards, watching scary movies and wrestling matches on television. He was a kind, sweet man who will be missed forever.

A private graveside service will be held at St. Roch’s Cemetery in Oxford. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Perkins School for the Blind, 175 North Beacon St., Watertown, MA 02472. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
