Donald Marszalkowski

WEBSTER – Donald J. Marszalkowski, 82, of Golden Heights, died Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at Webster Manor Healthcare in Webster. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rita (Latour) Marszalkowski of Webster; his daughter, Sheila M. Rogan and her husband William of Webster; his granddaughter and the apple of his eye, Andrea R. Rogan of Webster. He was predeceased by two brothers, John Marszalkowski and Robert Marshalkowski. He was born in Webster, son of the late Stanley and Stella (Zurowski) Marszalkowski, and lived his entire life in Webster. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. Marszalkowski worked at Dupont Construction Company in Webster for several years, retiring in 1998. In his retirement, he worked summers at Point Breeze Marina in Webster for 10 years. He was a member of Holy Trinity Parish in Webster. He was a musician who played guitar, organ, sang with his daughter, and had his own band for many years. He was a skilled handyman who enjoyed painting and could fix anything.

A private graveside service will be held at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Dudley. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Parish, 68 Lake St., Webster, MA 01570. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
