Donald Stewart, Sr.

NORTH OXFORD - Donald H. Stewart, Sr., 73, of Leicester St., died Monday, October 27, 2008, in his home. He was predeceased by his wife, Jacqueline M. (Migneault) Stewart of Webster. He is survived by four sons, Donald H. Stewart Jr. and his wife Kim of New Braintree, James C. Stewart and his wife Denise of North Oxford, Brian C. Stewart of Spencer, and Michael R. Stewart of Spencer; a sister, Joanne Morse of Webster; eleven grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Stewart; and a sister, Marion Zinc. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Charles G. and Mary E. (Lorraine) Stewart, and lived in Worcester, Auburn, and Webster, before moving to North Oxford 10 years ago. Mr. Stewart worked at Montrose Cable and Wire Co. in Auburn for 20 years, retiring many years ago. Previously, he worked at Culvern and Stearns Co. in Worcester. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 3, 2008, at North Cemetery, Oxford. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Care Hospice, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608. Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, is in care of the arrangements.
