Mrs. Huntington worked at Mapfre Insurance in Webster for over 30 years, retiring in 2025. She loved spending time with family and friends at their camp in Hampton Beach. She took great pleasure in planting and nurturing her flower garden, reading, and baking – she was known for her legendary Christmas cookies and fan-favorite lemon meringue pie. Donna was a steadfast fan of the New England Patriots and could always be found watching with her mother whenever a game was on. She was also a fierce cribbage competitor, and any win against her came with family bragging rights.
Donna will be remembered as a remarkable woman with a deep commitment to her immediate and extended family. She made it a priority to be there for important moments large and small, from graduations and weddings to all manner of sporting events and school shows. In addition, every birthday, anniversary, and holiday was acknowledged with a special card. Nothing meant more to her than her family.
The family would like to thank the staff at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus in Worcester, especially the oncology department, for the exceptional care given to Donna during her illness.
