Doris Trinque

CHARLTON – Doris L. (Lavoie) Trinque, 74, of Meadowview Drive, died peacefully on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at the Overlook Masonic Health Center in Charlton, MA surrounded by her family.  She was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, James J. Trinque Sr. who died in 2007; and a brother, Arthur Lavoie who died in 2021.  She is survived by four children, James Trinque Jr. and his wife Justine of Charlton, Dennis Trinque of Webster, Carolyn Trinque and her fiancé Michael Cipro of Holden, and Jennifer St. Pierre and her husband Joel of Coral Springs, FL; a brother, Richard Lavoie and his wife Alexis of Rochdale; four grandchildren, Nicholas and Rylee Trinque of Charlton, Torin Trinque of Abilene, TX, and Justin St. Pierre of Coral Springs, FL; and Kelsea McCart, who was very special to her.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Arthur A. and Louise E. (Beauregard) Lavoie, and lived in Worcester before moving to Charlton in 1984.

Doris was a surgical technician at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester for over 30 years.  She enjoyed watching baseball and football and was an avid fan of the Red Sox and Patriots.  Most important in her life, was her family.  She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

The family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff of the Overlook Post-Acute Unit for all their care and support during this difficult time.

A private graveside service will be held at Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Overlook Post-Acute Unit, Staff Appreciation Fund, 88 Masonic Home Rd., Charlton, MA 01507.  Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
