Edward G. Coulombe

Oxford

OXFORD - Edward G. “Ed” Coulombe, 77 of Oxford (formerly of Northborough, MA) had been courageously navigating a long period of declining health. He passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at UMass Memorial Medical Center with his beautiful wife and family by his side.

He was the son of the late Joseph G. and Dorothy M. (Kelly) Coulombe of Somerville, MA. Ed was predeceased by his sister Joan Catherine (1960) and brother Joseph R. (2005).

He is survived by his wife Karen F. (Lundberg) Coulombe; his four children, Edward Coulombe Jr. of Oxford, Michelle and Tomasz Kasprzycki of Oxford, Allison and Angelo Pucillo of Stow, and Robin and Justin Boucher of Rutland. He leaves behind his 10 treasured grandchildren who lovingly call him “Pa”; Tyler, Dylan, Alexander, Ella, Andrew, Arianna, Lukas, Hannah, Abigail and Jacob. He is survived by his siblings; Gene, Anne, Mary, David, Barbara and John, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by many cousins and close friends.

Known to his closest family and friends as “Ed” or “Eddie”, he worked for many years for Nuclear Metals. While raising his family for over 30 years in Northborough, he became a self-employed electrician, and later began flipping houses. As a business owner he found joy in the flexibility allowing more time with his family.

Ed was one of the most generous people you could meet with his time, talent and treasure. He especially enjoyed his Long Lake camp vacations with his extended family. He was always the first to respond to an invitation eager to attend any party or get together with extended family and friends. Ed loved being retired, his passion was spending as much time as he could traveling and playing games with his wife. A perfect day for Ed was spending time making crafts with his grandchildren. All of his other time was spent in his shop creating beautiful wooden projects on his lathe. Ed was a long-time member of St. Bernadette of Northborough and currently an active member of St. Roch in Oxford.

The family wishes to thank the ICU doctors, nurses and staff who cared for him over the past month at UMass Memorial Medical Center.
