OXFORD – Edward H. Trinder, 77, of Hemlock Street, died Thursday, September 21, 2023, in his home. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Donna M. (Senecal) Trinder of Oxford; his son, John H. Trinder and his wife Margaretta of Lanesborough; his sister, Carol Senecal of North Carolina, three grandchildren, Leslie Trinder, Liberty Trinder, and John Trinder; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Joseph J. Trinder who died in 1992; a sister, Marsha Taglieaffero and her husband Anthony; and a brother-in-law, David Senecal. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Henry H. and Dorothy (Surprise) Trinder, and lived in Millbury before moving to Oxford in 1994. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Trinder owned and operated Trinder and Son Trucking for many years. Previously, he was a truck driver for Sweet Life in Northborough for 22 years. He enjoyed archery and fishing, and was a member of Worcester Bassmasters.
He will surely be missed by everyone who knew him.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery in Oxford. Calling hours are Tuesday, September 26, 2023, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
