She was born in Longmont, Colorado and lived most of her life in central Massachusetts. Elaine was a nurse for 50+ years, retiring from Fairlawn Rehabilitation in Worcester, MA. She loved to travel, especially to Maui with her late husband Jack. She loved to crochet, read, and boy did she love to shop. But what she loved most of all was spending time with her grandchildren, whether it was at a dance recital, softball or soccer field she was always cheering them on.
The family would like to thank Brookhaven Hospice for their quick actions to get her home and for their support and compassion during her last few days.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Elaine’s name to Notre Dame du Lac, c/o the Activities Dept., 555 Plantation St., Worcester, MA 01605. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home is directing the arrangements.
