OXFORD – Elizabeth C. (Wilson) Champoux, 86, of Beech Street, died Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Lanessa Extended Care in Webster.
She was predeceased by her husband of 36 years, Richard A. Champoux Sr. of Oxford, who died in 1994. She is survived by five children, Richard A. Champoux Jr. of Virginia, Michael D. Champoux of Oxford, John J. Champoux of Southbridge, Theresa M. Champoux of Southbridge, and Margaret M. Roberts of Willington, CT; two sisters, Julia Lindblom of Rochester, NY, and Nancy Bousquet of Webster; 11 grandchildren, Robert, Robin, Randy, Kristopher, Christopher, Samantha, Jaclyn, Maddox, Emma, Zachary, and Nathan; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Stanley “Bud” Wilson.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Stanley J. and L. Claire (Hebert) Wilson Sr., and lived in Worcester before moving to Oxford in 1966.
Mrs. Champoux was a homemaker throughout her life, caring for her home and family for many years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Oxford. She loved dancing and music, and enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting, and flower gardening.
The family would like to thank the staff at Lanessa Extended Care in Webster, for their exceptional care during her time there.
A calling hour will be Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 10 – 11 a.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oxford. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the conclusion of calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
