OXFORD - Ellen M. LeBlanc, 87, of Lovett Road, died peacefully on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Theodore J. LeBlanc Sr., of Oxford; six children, Marie T. Hurley and her husband William of Middletown, CT, Theodore J. LeBlanc Jr. and his wife Mary of Oxford; Patricia A. Dion of Westboro, Barbara J. Boulay and her husband Robert of Oxford, Kenneth M. LeBlanc of Webster, and Scott A. LeBlanc and his wife Janet of Middletown, CT; 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester and was a lifelong resident of Oxford. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1946. Mrs. LeBlanc was the first female letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Oxford, where she worked for 20 years before retiring in 1988. She was a member of St. Ann's Church in North Oxford. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling. A funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, from Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Church, 652 Main St., North Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery in Oxford. Calling hours are Monday, April 13, 2015, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
