DUDLEY – Emanuele A. “Manny” Gurriere, 83, of Susan Drive, died Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Brookside Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Webster.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Christine T. (Skamarock) Gurriere of Dudley; three children, Constance A. Joromat and her husband Joseph of LaVerne, CA, Michael A. Gurriere and his wife Melissa Downing of Southbridge, and Maria E. Gurriere of Dudley; his sister, Jennie Qualitza of Kingman AZ; three grandchildren, Eric Joromat, Sara Joromat, and Eryn Joromat; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother George Gurriere, who died in 2025.

He was born in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Scoglio) Gurriere, and lived in California for many years before moving to Dudley in 1993. He proudly served in the Army National Guard in California.

Manny was a manager at Nouria Convenience Stores for 16 years, retiring in 2025. Previously, he was a manager at Honey Farms for 15 years, and worked for Burroughs Company when living in California. He was a member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Oxford.

Manny loved photography and photographed many weddings while living in California. He was known as Mr. Fix-It by his family and loved to putter around the house. He was a hard-working man throughout his life. He will be remembered as a social people-person who would start a conversation with anyone.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 270 Main St., Oxford. Burial with military honors will be held privately at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , 320 Nevada Street, Suite 201, Newton, MA 02460.
