OXFORD – Eric Steven Lopriore, 36, of Conlin Road, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus in Worcester, after a long illness.
He is survived by his parents, Steven J. and Darlene T. (Gallant) Lopriore of Oxford; two sisters, Elissa L. Lopriore and her husband Anthony T. Latour III of Dudley, and Kayli R. Lopriore and her fiancé Austin Greene of Oxford; his paternal grandmother, Cynthia A. Lopriore of Webster; his maternal grandmother, Doreen G. Gallant of Worcester; two nieces, Ariana and Liliana Latour of Dudley; and aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Gaetano T. Lopriore and his maternal grandfather, Norman E. Gallant.
He was born in Worcester and grew up in Oxford. He graduated from Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School in 2007 and worked as an electrician at numerous companies including Hardline Heat Treating in Southbridge.
Eric played hockey for the Bay State Sharks in Auburn for 13 years, winning numerous championships and team awards. He loved music, enjoyed riding motorcycles and dirt bikes with his friends, and was an avid car enthusiast. He was also an aspiring tattoo artist. His proudest accomplishment was designing, building, and installing all of the electrical work alongside his Dad for their log home in Oxford. Most of all, Eric enjoyed his family vacations to Old Orchard Beach in Maine, and spending time with his family, especially his nieces.
Memorial calling hours will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oxford. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the conclusion of calling hours.
