Eugena Chambers

WEBSTER – Eugena E. Chambers, 84, died peacefully on August 18, 2018, at Beaumont Skilled Nursing Center in Westboro. She is survived by her sister, Nancy J. Cierpich of Dudley; several nieces and nephews, including Beth J. Aulenback of Shrewsbury, and Mark J. Cierpich of Charlton; and several great nephews and nieces. Predeceased by four sisters, Jessie Tryba, Elaine Gilrein, Janet Christian, and Beverly Strader. She was born in Webster, daughter of the late Howard I. and Mildred A. (Olson) Chambers, and lived most of her life in Webster. She graduated from Oxford High School.
Ms. Chambers was a bookkeeper for several area businesses for many years. She was an accomplished golfer and a member of Worcester County Women’s Golf League for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private at a later date at North Cemetery in Oxford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
