Georgette M. Duval

BOOTHBAY HARBOR, ME -- Georgette M. (Paul) Duval, 91, died peacefully on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Safe Haven at St. Andrews Village in Boothbay Harbor, ME.

She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Robert J. Duval who died in 2007.  She is survived by five children, Robert P. Duval and his wife Sharon of Shrewsbury, Roberta D. Gervais and her husband Deacon Marc Gervais of Whitman, MA, Donna A. Pisano and her husband Gregory of Chandler, AZ, Carol A. McClure and her husband Steven of Waldoboro, ME, and Mary Ann J. Bustamante and her husband Alejandro of Bartlesville, OK; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.

She was born in Washington, VT, daughter of the late Felix and Antoinette (Roberge) Paul, and was a longtime resident of Webster, moving to Maine in 2014. Georgette also spent 10 years in FL.

She made a career as an accomplished master seamstress and tailor.  She loved to travel, seeing many countries of the world on the wonderful trips she took.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 25, 2023, at St. Ann’s Church, 652 Main St., North Oxford.  A calling hour will be held on Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m., at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, prior to the Mass.  Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Webster.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
