WARREN – Gerard “Jerry” J. Chauvin, 65, of Town Farm Road, died Thursday, January 20, 2022, at MetroWest Medical Center – Framingham Union Hospital in Framingham. He was predeceased by his wife, Annette P. (Audette) Chauvin who died in 2018. He is survived by four children, Tina Willette of Millbury, Lisa Chauvin of Wales, Angela Bohlken of Auburn, and Steven Chauvin of Warren; a brother, James Chauvin of Northbridge; eight grandchildren, Derik, Kyle, Luke, Landon, Aria, Mason, Camille, and Levi; his companion, Marta Goode of Holliston; and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, David Chauvin; and a sister, Ann Chauvin. He was born in Northbridge, son of the late Lionel and Laurette (Boucher) Chauvin, and lived most of his life in Grafton before moving to Warren 6 years ago.
Mr. Chauvin owned and operated Jerry’s Trucking Company for many years. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 170. He enjoyed traveling to the White Mountains in New Hampshire. His passion was fixing things, and he could always be found working on cars and trucks in someone’s garage with his lifelong friends. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
Services will be private at the request of the family. Burial will be private at Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
