Glenn P. Christenson

OXFORD – Glenn P. Christenson, 64, of Wheelock Street, died Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus in Worcester.

He is survived by two daughters, Kristi L. Jones and her husband Glenn Jones of Putnam, CT, and Ashley L. Fasshauer of Oxford; seven siblings, Richard Christenson, Leonard Christenson, Fay Mier, Gayle Christenson, Kurt Christenson, Doreen Carlsen, and Chris Christenson; his former wife, Shelly (Mickelson) Chalue; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by four brothers, Roland Christenson who died in 1967, Ralph Christenson who died in 2007, Carl Christenson who died in 2013, and Gordon Christenson who died in 2015.

He was born in Worcester, son of the late Richard and Dora (Carlson) Christenson, and lived most of his life in Oxford. He graduated from Oxford High School.

Mr. Christenson was a truck driver for many years, working for Guardian Glass in Webster and Automatic Rolls in Dayville, CT. He played hockey while in high school and was a New England sports fan throughout his life. He had a love for nature and enjoyed hiking and spending time outdoors.

Services will be held privately. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
