Gordon Terry

DUDLEY – Gordon Robert Terry, 61, of Lakeview Avenue, died Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.  He is survived by two children, Heather Terry and Kathleen Terry; his fiancée Joelle Kelley; his stepchildren, Jillian Kelley, Matthew Kelley, and Megan Kelley and his grandchildren, Shannon Terry-Nugent, Elizabeth Nugent, Madeline Nugent, Grayson Kelley, and Lillyanna Kelley.  He was born in North Bay, Ontario, Canada, on July 5, 1960, son of the late Norman and Frances (Stewart) Terry.  He moved from Toronto, Canada, to Sturbridge in 1992 before moving to Dudley in 1995, where he resided for the last 26 years.

Mr. Terry was general manager of Anaconda USA in Bellingham.  He had previously worked as a senior vice president at American Optical in Southbridge for many years.  He was a Bruins and Patriots fan, and loved all Canadian sports teams.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, jet-skiing, and loved Christmas.  He worked hard and played hard.

Services are private.  Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
