Harold A. Chapman

OXFORD – Harold A Chapman, 80, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022, at UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus in Worcester, Massachusetts. Harold is survived by ex-wife, Hazel (Walsh) Chapman of Murfreesboro TN; two sons, Michael J. Chapman and wife Maggie Chapman of Smyrna, TN, and William J. Chapman of Murfreesboro, TN; a daughter, Elizabeth A. Chapman of McMinnville, TN; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; two sisters, Rita T. (Chapman) Anderson of Dudley, and Cynthia J. Gaboury and her husband Cliff Gaboury of Thompson, CT; and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by two sisters, Faye Campalito and Pamela LaFountain.

Harold was born on January 5, 1942, in Worcester, MA, the son of Harold S. Chapman and Rita Mary (Surprenant) Chapman. He was employed by Cranston Print Works in Webster until his retirement/disability.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday May 13, 2023, at North Cemetery, Oxford, at 11:00 a.m.  A gathering will take place immediately after the service at the VFW Hall on Federal Hill Road in Oxford.  Family and friends are all welcome.
