Heidi Jariwala

SANTA MONICA, CA - Heidi Thelen (Tebo) Jariwala, 49, of Santa Monica, California, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in West Los Angeles after a courageous battle with a rare form of appendiceal cancer.

She is survived by her husband, Neil B. Jariwala and her daughter, Grace N. Jariwala both of Santa Monica. Heidi also leaves her mother and stepfather, Donna L. Whitten and E. Kenneth Cassavant of Worcester, MA; her father, John J. Tebo and his wife, Sandy of Spencer, MA; her grandfather, Donald K. Strader of Oxford, MA as well as her in laws, Swati Shah and her husband Bharat Shah, of Irvine, CA; Bakul Jariwala and his wife, Rajan Jariwala of Ontario, CA and an extended family of cherished aunts, uncles, cousins and brothers and sisters-in law

Heidi was pre-deceased by her two grandmothers, Thelma I. Strader and Helen T. Ruel and by her little brother, Donnie, to whom she was devoted.

Born in Oxford, Massachusetts, Heidi’s journey to California began when she was in the seventh grade. She graduated from Venice High School continuing on to the University of Southern California (USC) where she earned her degree in Film and Television.  Heidi pursued a career as a Post Production Supervisor in the film and television industry for over twenty years, working on a variety of productions including Game of Thrones, The Avengers and Spiderman; at the time of her passing, she was working for Company 3, a post production services company, as a sales executive.

A determined, smart and funny person, Heidi found her joy with Neil and Grace.

A Celebration of Heidi’s life will be held on July 30, 2022, at SkyRose Chapel at Rose Hills 3888 Workman Mill Rd Whitter, CA 90601.

A graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m. on Monday, August 8, 2022, at North Cemetery in Oxford, MA.  In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to: The ACPMP Research Foundation
