Ian T. Dobbs

NORTH BROOKFIELD – Ian Thomas Dobbs, 29, of Arch Street, died suddenly on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, in his home. He is survived by his wife, Sara “Lou” E. DaCosta of North Brookfield; his parents, Ronald J. and Sharon L. (Chausse) Dobbs of Charlton; and his brother, Michael A. Dobbs of Lowell.

He was born in Worcester and moved to North Brookfield earlier this year. He graduated from Shepherd Hill Regional High School in Dudley in 2013, and attended Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester.

Ian worked for Ford’s Hometown Services. Ian loved music, playing guitar and making electronic music. He aligned with left-wing politics and had an incredible empathy for people.

Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), 125 Broad Street, 18th floor, New York, NY 10004.

Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
