NORTH OXFORD - Irene T. (Gallant) Robidoux, 92, of Southbridge Road, died Friday, November 15, 2013, at her daughter's home in Parrish, FL. She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Arthur A. Robidoux of North Oxford, who died in 1984; her daughter, Gail Metcalf of North Oxford, who died in 2013; her sister, Helen LaFlamme and two brothers, Clarence and Bill Gallant. She is survived by two children, Jeffrey Robidoux and his wife, Marie of Charlton, and Dorothy Pierce and her husband, Dwight of Parrish, FL; her son-in-law, William Metcalf of North Oxford; two brothers, Steven and Skip Gallant, a sister, Rita Gravel; 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. She was born in North Oxford, the daughter of the late William and Agnes (Montville) Gallant, and lived in Rochdale and North Oxford for most of her life. She was a member of St. Ann's Church in North Oxford and loved history, the beach, and her family. She enjoyed all types of family events, including being the reigning champion in the family March Madness Pool. She will be dearly missed by all friends and family. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday November 21, 2013, at St. Ann's Church, 652 Main St., North Oxford. Please meet directly at the church. The burial will follow at St. Roch's Cemetery in Oxford. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the VNA Care Network & Hospice 120 Thomas St. Worcester MA 01608.
