Jacqueline Berthiaume

DUDLEY - Jacqueline M. (Bolduc) Berthiaume, 80, of Joshua Place, died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 8, 2014, in her home. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Paul R. Berthiaume Sr., who died in 2008. She is survived by four children, Neil A. Berthiaume of Webster, Mark C. Berthiaume and his wife Cheryl of Oxford, David C. Berthiaume and his wife Kelly of Dudley, and Janine M. Norgren and her husband Richard of Plainfield, CT; a sister, Jeannette Rowe of Webster; her daughter-in-law, Debra Berthiaume of Webster; ten grandchildren, Steven and his wife Lauren, Sarah, Tonimarie, Joseph and his wife DeAnn, Nicole, Jonathon, Carrie, Kyle, Nicholas and his wife Katie, and Jarrad; four great grandchildren, Jason, Christopher, Zachary, and Sarah; two dear friends, Dagny Carlsen of Oxford and Janet Christopher of Webster; and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a son, Paul R. Berthiaume Jr., who died in 2000; three brothers, William, Leo, and Alfred; and four sisters, Dora, Marie, Beatrice, and Mabel. She was born in Webster, the daughter of the late Clovis and Helen (Goulet) Bolduc, and lived in Oxford before moving to Dudley 21 years ago. Mrs. Berthiaume graduated from Bartlett High School in Webster in 1952. She worked as a secretary for many years, most recently for the Oxford Public Schools. She was happiest when spending time with her family, and will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. A funeral Mass will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at St. Roch's Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will be private at a later date at St. Roch's Cemetery in Oxford. Memorial calling hours are Saturday, January 17, 2015, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oxford, prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
