NORTH OXFORD – Jacqueline (Faubert) Dukes, 80, of Daniel Drive, died Monday, February 27, 2023, at Homestead Hall in Worcester. She was predeceased by her husband of 33 years, Robert E. Dukes who died in 1995. She is survived by two children, Mark E. Dukes and his wife Elaine of Spencer, and Laurie A. Rieser of Dudley; three grandchildren, Alyssa N. Baedke and her husband Ben of Wyoming, Joshua Dukes of Spencer, and Rob Dukes of Spencer; a great-granddaughter, Eowyn Baedke; and her companion, Robert Browning of North Oxford. She was predeceased by two brothers, Louis Faubert and Roland Faubert. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late John B. Faubert and Irene (Butler) Fortin, and was a lifelong resident of North Oxford. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1960.
Mrs. Dukes was a hairdresser at Barry’s Beauty Salon in Auburn for 35 years. Later, she was a receptionist at Kesseli and Morse in Worcester for 10 years prior to retirement. She was a member of St. Ann’s Church in North Oxford. Jackie loved to golf and was a daily golfer for many years. She enjoyed traveling, Sunday afternoon drives, and photography.
A funeral will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023, from Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church, 652 Main St., North Oxford. Burial will follow at West Sutton Cemetery in Sutton. Calling hours are Thursday, March 2, 2023, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Ann’s Church, P.O. Box 488, North Oxford, MA 01537.
